White tea is the rarest of all the teas due to the stringent picking and storage requirements on the tea plantations. This particular elegant blend can be steeped as iced tea using the cold or blended steeping method.
One bag of The Novel Tea artisan loose leaf tea make 50 – 60 cups of tea, or 7 – 10 pots.
Green and White teas should be steeped with water that is between 160 and 170 degrees. To get this temperature, pull water from heat as soon as it reaches a boil, then allow to cool for 2-3 minutes. Boiling water will bruise more delicate green and white leaves.
This tea should steep for 4-6 minutes.
For the best taste use fresh or filtered water. The best water makes the best tea.
